Nintendo 64 turns 18 today

One of my favorite systems of all times turns 18 today. September 29th, 1996 - 18 years ago today - the Nintendo 64 hit US shelves. I had to wait to get my system for Christmas, but it didnt stop me from playing Mario 64 at every Walmart kiosk I could get my hands on. For nostalgic purposes, check out this first look VHS from the Ninedo 64 release. Man do I feel old.

Destiny's Loot Cave - My new addiction'

Destiny is the first MMO type game I've ever played. Since finding out about loot cave and sharing it amongst the group, it has become an addiction of mine. Since capping my Hunter @ level 20, I haven't put much effort into gaining armor to go beyond level 20. So instead I have been leveling up my Titan and Warlock classes, using the cave. Some of you may be asking why, and honestly I don't know, I just want to experience all sides of the characters. The cave has been interesting so far as well. From discussions with friends to that moment when the suns align and warlocks pop out of the cave and the spot turns into a huge battle of never ending enemies. Still unsure why that phenomenon happens, but when it does.... amazing!!! Get in on it before its patched.

New Game Center Issue Available: Destiny

Being the nice guy that I am, I like to keep you all updated on freebies, especially when they are gaming related. As Ive mentioned before,  Game Center magazine is a free publication that you can pickup at your local Walmart, in the electronic section. Its completely free, and makes for a pretty good read while bored or sitting on the John. The latest issue also comes with a Disney Infinity 2.0 poster, which you or maybe your kids are a fan of. Either way, for free, its well worth the price of admission.

Destiny reviews rolling in...

Destiny reviews have been pouring online over the last couple days, and its not getting as much love as I expected it too. I havent spent enough time with Destiny yet to give my take, and looking forward to trying out the fireteam feature this weekend, and progressing a bit further. One of the things I have found about Destiny I do like though, the transition from Xbox One>360 and vice-versa is seamless. Also noticed that whatever achievements I popped on Xbox One, instantly popped when I went to 360 version. I should have my review up Monday.
