New Dragon Ball Anime Announced - Dragon Ball Super

Good news Dragon Ball Z fans, a new series is getting ready to hit Japan this summer. 

Dragon Ball Super takes place after Goku defeats Buu, so its a direct sequel/follow-up to DBZ.
Starts airing in July. 

So looking back... Did the events of GT never take place then?
